This was passed along to us by the family of Henry and Madge Fisher:


"The family of Henry and Madge Fisher would like to announce their 75th wedding anniversay on August 29, 2006.

Mr. and Mrs. Fisher were married in Marion, IL in 1931. Three years ago a local news crew visited them on their anniversay. When the reporter asked what advice they could give, Henry gave a simple response, "I love her. She loves me and we both love the Lord."

Henry celebrated his 97th birthday in June. Madge will be 92 in December. The couple have three children, eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. They are loved and respected by all who know them. The still live at their home despite their respective ages."
